AFLA Conference Focuses on Economics & Technology

TORRANCE, CA - "Economics and Technology: Back to the Basics" was the theme of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association's (AFLA) fall conference that took place Sept. 30-October 2, 1999, in San Antonio.

Keynote speaker for the event was Dave Hansen, general manager, brand and support, for General Motors Fleet & Commercial Operations.

Hansen said GM expects to generate about $6 billion in new revenue from e-commerce related sales in the next 10 years.
